Tyler Morgan is a 2017 OF/SS with a 5-7 133 lb. frame from Chappell Hill, TX who attends Brenham HS. Slender young build, lacks present strength but has plenty of room to get stronger. Runs very well, 6.80 in the sixty. Infielder's body and actions but only took drills in the outfield, charged the ball hard with good balance, very accurate throws with some carry, sound fundamentals, should be a quality defensive middle infielder as well. Right handed hitter, inside swing path, contact approach, handles the barrel well and makes consistent mid to opposite field contact, repeats his mechanics and timing well, looks to have spent plenty of time hitting and working on his game. Strong fundamental player who should keep improving with additional strength. Good student.
