Jackson Collins is a 2020 LHP/ with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Bay Area Christian HS. Long lanky frame with long limbs and lots of room to fill out. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Up tempo delivery with a short rocker step into a leg lift above the belt. Lower three-quarter arm slot and has a full arm stroke. Keeps it online and has a softer curveball that he can land. Deceptive pickoff move and has arm side life on the fastball. Hides the ball nicely and has lots of life. Low effort delivery with solid feel for the changeup. Gets late sinking action on the pitch. Curveball has 1/7 shape and looked best when throwing it like a slider. Changeup is the go-to secondary pitch. Really good pitchability and lots of weak contact.
