Jake Fowler is a 2015 RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from New Port Richey, FL who attends James W. Mitchell HS. Tall, strongly built, lean frame with more room to add strength. Pitches from an over the top arm slot and has a high leg lift. Tops at 86 mph with his fastball and lands slightly open in his delivery. Hits his spots and fills up the strike zone. Shows good 12-6 depth on his curveball at 73 mph and spots its consistently. Knows how to elevate his fastball with intent. Flashes cutting action at times on his fastball. Stays balanced and mixes his pitches effectively. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
