Kyle Cross is a 2016 C/2B with a 5-10 157 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out throughout frame. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, compact and low set up behind the plate, receives out front, quick release on throws, gets tall at release, tight and compact arm action, accurate throws, will continue to develop with incorporation of lower half. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and wide base. Upper body swing, line drive swing plane with a short path to the ball. Hands stay close to body through contact, pull side approach, gets onto front side early but creates consistent contact to left field. Good student.
