Ty Markee is a 2016 3B/2B, RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown High School. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.11 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, short arm action through the back with a quick transfer and release, moves well on feet and shows lateral range, taller at release but shows arm strength and carry across the diamond. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter slot with a tight release and shorter arm action through the back. Incorporates lower half and finishes towards the plate, flashed a slider at 71 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Creates some extension and hits the ball out front, shows quickness in hands with a short path to the ball. Line drive swing plane, shows ability to hit to all fields, occasionally gets to front foot early, nice contanct approach, best carry off the barrel comes to pull side. Very good student.
