Kason Hebert is a 2018 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Hillgrove. Medium frame with compact, athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance with high hand set and back elbow, slightly closed off front hip, opens up well into stride. Inside-out hand path with solid bat speed, works consistently back up the middle and to the opposite field with line drive swing plane. Shows good strength in swing. Worked out defensively in the outfield, quick steps to the ball with good balance, fields cleanly out front and works through, gets on top of the ball into throws and shows strong arm, clocked up to 82 MPH on throws. Pitched as well, throws from mid-three quarters arm slot with good extension, fastball worked 74-79 MPH with good life down in the strike zone. Curveball worked in the mid-upper 60's with 12/6 shape and good depth with tight spin. Showed straight changeup with good arm speed and deception out of hand. Pounded down in the zone with all pitches successfully.
