Nicholas Cippoletti is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Joseph by the Sea HS. Younger look with the build and physicality to add strength as he develops and matures. Ran a 5.15 40-yard dash. Very solid actions in the infield with present athleticism and a very quick release. Good footwork and momentum through the throwing motion and charges well to dribblers in. Quick steps directly to the ball with sound actions on the backhand and out in front. Closed, narrow stance at the plate and the hand set is high with a high back elbow. Takes a small stride toward the pitcher with a compact swing and very consistent feel for the barrel. Quick hands and did a good job of hitting the ball out in front with the barrel of the bat. Power potential is still developing but has very impressive present hitting tools. Named to the 2017 Northeast Indoor Showcase - NJ Top Prospect List. Great student.
