Patrick McCaleb is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Bethlehem, PA who attends Susan E Wagner. Medium, athletic frame with a long and lean frame, projects with room to fill out throughout frame moving forward. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front with hands that play, shows some skills with the glove, quick transfer to short and compact arm action, arm strength and carry will continue to develop with physical growth. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and closes with stride, high hand set with high back elbow in the box. Direct path to the ball with a full swing through the zone, uses a toe tap trigger for timing, creates consistent contact to pull side. Front side goes early at times in swing, looks to hit the ball out front and gets the barrel to the ball. Good student.
