Edward "Austin" Quiroz is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Medium athletic build with plenty room to fill, moves freely to the ball in the outfield. Consistently plays below the baseball and possesses a quick transfer. Has some arm strength to all bags and kept throws online to all bags. Even stance with a higher hand set and hands fire early in his swing at the plate. Longer stride to contact generates some coil from his even stance. Still understanding his timing and rhythm with the pitcher. Possesses a solid middle of the field approach and works his hands in that direction. Struggles to get his hands extended through the zone but finds the barrel nicely when he does.
