Kamal Nader is a 2019 1B/C with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends The Kinkaid School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and physical strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, takes short steps charging in off the bag, short arm action through the back, gets on top of throws, fields the ball out front, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, starts with a slight wrap to barrel and uses a front leg raise trigger to begin swing. Strength on frame translates and helps produce bat speed through the zone, long and loose swing with ability to elevate at contact. Strength off barrel when squared, pull side approach with slight uphill at contact but can create backspin on balls nicely.
