Buhm Jin Song is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Doherty. Medium high waisted frame, long lean build with room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot. Deep 12-6 curveball was an effective weapon for him in this outing, showed confidence in it and the ability to locate it down in the strike zone for swings and misses. Works primarily towards the glove side of the plate with the fastball which flashed sinking action and should induce a good amount of ground balls. Worked quickly and attacked hitters early in count and had an effective outing. Simple swing mechanics with a contact oriented approach at the plate. Good student.
