Nolan Daniel is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Dublin, GA who attends West Laurens HS. Recorded a 6.92 second 60-yard dash time. Tall and athletic frame with a lean build and physically projectable. Primary righthanded pitcher with a three quarters arm slot and medium arm circle. Fastball up to 88 mph that showed good sinking life. Good command of the fastball and can get the pitch to either side effectively. Attacked with fastballs and mixed in a hard, short slider with 10/4 shape and break to the pitch. Gets on top of the fastball well and can create good downhill plane. Slider flashed tight rotation and depth to the pitch; can be a weapon if thrown more often. Secondary infielder with arm strength recorded up to 82 mph. Deliberate actions and bends at the waist, sound third base actions. Righthanded hitter with a short swing directly into contact. Good strength with intriguing power ceiling. Line drive swing path and can improve with more lower half incorporation. Verbal commitment to Tallahassee CC. Good student.
