Colin Liebe is a 2019 SS/3B, 2B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends Chapel Hill High School. Young player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.26 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields centered, clean actions to backhand, lateral range, and accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, started with a wide base, even stance, active hands, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Compact hand path to the ball with a linear swing plane. Good eye at the plate with a patient approach. Raw bat speed with contact geared towards up the middle and pull side. Will continue to improve with additional strength.
