Joseph Dena is a 2019 C/MIF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Benbrook, TX who is home schooled. Recorded a 7.26 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and athletic build with lots of room for physicality to be added to the frame. Primary catcher with an uphill release and accurate throws down the the bag. Quickness to the exchange with a higher release point and recorded a best pop time under 2.0 seconds. Secondary middle infielder whose hands work well in front; graded out best from the position. Gets on top throws with solid arm strength and projects across the board. Good carry on throws and athleticism shine through the actions. Righthanded hitter with a simple stance and load. Upper half dominant swing path with a high finish and created contact to the middle of the field. Solid barrel skills and knack for getting the barrel out in front. Good student.
