Josh Blaustein is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Holland, PA who attends Council Rock South. Medium, athletic frame with a leaner build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot and stays online with lower half through delivery. Long arm action, topped out at 76 mph with fastball which shows life on the pitch. Flashed a changeup at 67 mph. Drops down to lower arm slot on curveball at 65 mph. Gets on top of throws across the infield, stays down, shows nice footwork and works through the ball with carry on throws. Right-handed batter, pulls hands back and shows a short path to the ball with some lift in swing. Upper half swing with nice contact skills with ability to hit to all fields. Outstanding student.
