Terrance Marin is a 5'11" 145 pound 2007 right handed pitcher and shortstop from Newman, California who attends Orestimba High School. He has a lean athletic build with sloped shoulders indicative of a pitcher. Terrance topped out at 83 mph with his fastball which has good run to it. He has an even tempo and a very balanced delivery. He has good arm speed and the ball leaves his hand very easy. His slider could be a tough pitch at 71 mph as long as he gets on top of it every time. He seems to have an idea on how to pitch and he also holds runners very well. Marin fields his position very well and is like a cat off the mound. He ran a 7.57 60 showing decent speed. Terrance has a compact aggressive swing with some hidden strength. He shows gap to gap power potential and makes good contact. He has good raw power and also showed the ability to lay down a nice bunt. Terrance is a solid two way prospect who is a good student as well.
