Strong fundamentals behind the plate defensively, has good footwork and compact quick actions, gets rid of the ball comfortably and makes strong accurate throws, 1.94 best pop time, framed the ball well with life pitching and anticipates location well. Right handed hitter, square stance, aggressive swing with good balance, same simple fundamental approach he uses on defense, has bat speed and showed he could drive the ball to all fields. Strong overall performance. Very good student, verbal commitment to Northern Illinois.
