Brett VanAsdlen is a 2007 C/1B/3B from Minooka, IL, with a large frame a strong build at 6-4, 220 lbs. Defensively, he has good actions behind the plate and good blocking skills. He has good arm strength and a quick release with a 2.01 pop time in the workout. He hits with a deep load and a slightly lofted swing plane. He has quick hands and he generates good bat speed with gap power potential. He has solid tools with projectable body and he is a high level prospect with a big upside. Brett is a very good student.
