Ramon Torres is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Grand Prairie, TX who attends Grand Prairie. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Primary shortstop with active footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through exchange well. Flashed some arm strength while throwing across the infield topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance. Stays on back side with rotational lower half actions to contact. Loose, extended hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Looked to lift the baseball to the middle of the field and pull side gap showing fluidity through finish when on time and balanced. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Excellent student.
