Turner Whitfield is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Knoxville Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 7.28 runner, shows good athletic ability and balance on defense, good arm action with developing arm strength, feet and hands work well, can work through the ball more aggressively. Right handed hitter, tall open stance, limited lower half use affects balance during swing, shows some raw strength when pull the ball, tends to get out front and reach on pitches away, tools to continue to develop offensively. Very good student.
