Luke Morton is a 2015 1B/RHP with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Waxahachie, TX who attends Waxahachie. Morton has a large frame and present strength in body. Hits from a square stance, short and quick line drive swing to ball with good extension through the ball and lift. Uses whole field with gap to gap power potential. Ball comes off barrel well and consistently squares up the ball. Defensively, short easy loose arm action. Good carry on the ball. Has athletic fielding actions and makes all the plays.
