Jayln Dorsey is a 2015 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Webster, FL who attends South Sumter HS. Medium, slender, highly athletic build with room to grow. Ran a 6.64 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced, open stance. Shows loft and carry to the middle of the field, but mostly generates line drives. Shows sound actions at shortstop and has the arm strength to play the position. Has tools to develop further defensively. Also took the mound, reaches 82 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Longer arm action and his arm works clean. Mixes a 66 mph curveball with good 11-5 depth. Generates a downhill plane. Throws strikes with two pitches. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
