Payton Dycus is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona HS. Medium frame, lean build with room to fill. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot with a medium length arm action. Loose arm action, deliberate delivery, well controlled mechanics, low effort delivery, threw strikes with good control and kept the ball down effectively to generate ground balls. 11-5 curveball with good depth and feel, maintains arm speed well on changeup with good sink. High hand set in the batters box, double toe tap trigger, short compact swing, line drive plane. Quick arm in the infield with good release time, good range and charges the ball well, made a nice diving play up the middle from shortstop during game action.
