Michael Radey is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Princeton Jct, NJ who attends West Windsor-Plainsboro North HS. Large, athletic frame with sloped shoulder and present strength, room to still fill through upper half. Ran a 5.31 40-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, does a nice job of getting tall on backside, hands stay close to body until hand break with full arm action through the back coming to a three-quarters arm slot. Upright delivery but gets on top of fastball well, shows short running life and touched 84 mph early in outing. Loose and easy arm action, extension out front, and shows ability to work to either side of the plate, projects with continued incorporation of lower half. Induces ground ball contact, slows arm action slightly on curveball, flashed a changeup at 74 mph. Similar arm action from the outfield and gets on top, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Righthanded hitter, begins swing with leg lift trigger for timing. Full swing through the zone, shows smoothness to stroke with line drive swing plane and some separation at contact. Good student.
