Bennett Keane is a 2016 RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Mill Valley, CA who attends St Ignatius College Prep. Tall athletic body, long arms, projects well physically. Deliberate delivery, full arm action with some early wrap in back, arm comes through clean and fast, stays on line and repeats delivery well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, more velocity in there, good heavy life on the fastball when down in the zone, can work both sides of the plate effectively. Curveball showed tight spin once he got feel for it, good 11/5 shape and bite, straight change up with some developing feel, threw both off speed pitches for strikes. Projectable young pitcher with three pitches who should keep getting better. Good student.
