Zach Todd is a 2008 3B/SS with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from West Palm Beach FL, who attends Palm Beach Central HS. He has a a medium build with some present strength. Todd is a 7.55 runner in the 60. He has nice hands on defense and tends to wait back on balls to get to him as 3B tend to. He has a second base release and arm strength, though, so he could go either way; raising his arm angle at third base being the most likely. His best tools are on offense. Todd hits out of an upright stance with good balance and minimal stride or load. He has quick hands and can get the bat head to balls on the inside half and pull them hard. His bat speed is good and he has a line drive stroke. Todd looks like he's going to hit a bit. He also took a turn on the mound and threw 80 mph with very good sink from the same low release point from a quick paced, max effort delivery. Todd is also a good student.
