Jake Kelly is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from West Haven, CT who attends West Haven. Extra-large, athletic build with long limbs, high waist, and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action coming through the back. Shows sound, repeatable mechanics with an online and balanced delivery. Front side opens early at times but creates nice extension out front and shows nice command off all three offerings. Worked fastball in the 80-83 mph range with nice cutting action to it. Very good feel for his 10-4 slider at 73 mph, showing nice depth with tight rotation and flashed a changeup at 76 mph. Outstanding student.
