2006 National Underclass Showcase
Kenneth Lin is a 2008 SS/RHP/3B that attends Head-Royce HS and resides in Castro Valley, CA with a 6'0", 175 lb. frame. Kenneth has an athletic build and looked very good on the mound at the showcase. At the plate Kenneth hits from a no-stride approach with good strength and bat speed in his swing. He is able to hit the ball to all fields and when he centers the ball can really drive the ball. In the field Kenneth has clean actions with a good arm. Kenneth is very fundamentally sound in the field and could play any position. On the mound Kenneth has a good delivery with an arm that works well. Kenneth is a low effort pitcher with good arm speed and solid command. He also shows a nice feel for a change-up and could see action in a number of different roles on the mound. Kenneth is an outstanding student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
