Justin Fox is a 2018 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Concord, NC who attends Cox Mill HS. Skinny, slender frame with room to grow. Recorded a 7.01 60-yard dash time. The primary shortstop works well through the baseball with a quick release. Polished and clean fielder with good athleticism and a strong arm recorded at 85 mph. Changed arm slots between submarine and three-quarters on the mound. Slot change worked well with deception on the mound and the differential in fastball velocity between slots worked well. Good strike zone command of the fastball which sat from 80-82 mph in the upper slot and had some arm side run. The slider had true 9/3 shape with some late break to the pitch. Offensively he had an even stance with a strong offensive approach and a line drive swing plane. Good barrel control and leveraged well to the pull side of the field.
