Jacob Sifuentes is a 2019 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends St. Michael's Academy. Big and strong build. Long and loose arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot, consistent mechanics from the windup, tends to rush from the stretch and leave his arm behind. Topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with occ arm side run, has been up to 83 mph at PG events earlier this summer. Curveball has tight spin and some 11/5 biting action, works quickly and throws strikes with both pitches. Left handed hitter, has a fluid and balanced swing, upper body strength driven swing that creates some barrel whip and bat speed, loose hands middle of the field approach. 7.41 runner with good defensive actions at first base. Good student.
