Austin Ledet is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Druid Hills HS. Slender young build, plenty of room to get stronger. High energy delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill despite his height, arm is fast and loose coming through, tends to lean off and fall to the first base side on release. Fastball to 84 mph, challenges with his fastball and can climb the ladder on hitters, fastball mostly straight. Curveball has good hard spin and biting action, short lane changing slider offers another look. Right handed hitter, late leg raise trigger, foot is late getting down, loose aggressive swing with some length, mostly opposite field contact. Showed his arm strength from the outfield. Excellent student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
