Maxwell Dodd is a 2017 RHP/3B, 1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Pottsboro, TX who attends Pottsboro HS. Strong mature build with clear signs of present strength. On the mound, long arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. Fluid arm action that allows for very good location of pitches. Slider has good break to it, more of a slurve 11/5 break. Profiles well at either corner infield position for his size. High energy on the infield with solid arm strength and accurate throws across. At the plate, starts with a wide, open stance and a high hand set. Swings on a line drive swing path that has potential to generate some lift at the point of contact. Will see even more loud contact off the bat as he continues to develop more barrel control. Excellent student
