Trey Johnson is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Monroe, GA who attends George Walton Academy. Young slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, straight stance, short quick swing, stays quick and keeps his mechanics simple, gets the barrel to the ball well and will be able to drive it with more strength, spray line drive contact. 7.14 runner, fields out front, tends to get his glove down late at times, quick exchange and release with a low flip throwing action, makes accurate throws, plays defense with some athleticism. Good student.
