Aaron Beaulaurier is a 2016 OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Spokane, WA who attends Ferris HS. Medium, athletic frame with present strength. Right handed hitter with a straight, balanced stance. Creates coil at load and flahsed an explosive lower half to contact. Shows good quick twitch hand speed that generates solid bat speed. Uses a mid-field approach with a line drive swing plane that produces hard line drive contact to all fields. Shows next level tool set at the plate with power potential that can split the gaps. Good knowledge of the strike zone with a mature approach at the plate. Workout out defensively from the outfield. Very aggresive routes while closing on baseball with smooth, athletic actions throughout transition. Tends to throw uphill with a quick arm action from a taller set with some on line carry and accuracy to the bag, topped at 79 mph from the OF. Shows good speed in the outfield to cut down balls in the gap. Good student as well.
