Larry Johnson is a 2013 OF/2B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, NY who attends Nellie A Thornton HS. Medium frame with a solid athletic build and present strength. A right handed hitter, he hits from a crouched stance with a pull side power approach. He showed outstanding bat speed and made very loud contact during his BP session. In the outfield he showed solid footwork and a clean transfer. Arm action could be stretched out a little more. The ball comes out clean and has carry. Ran a 6.77 60 yd dash and the speed plays up further in game.
