Devon Connors is a 2017 C/OF, 3B, 1B with a 6-3 218 lb. frame from Lutz, FL who attends Carrollwood Day. Large frame, broad shoulders, sturdy, mature build with impressive present strength. Solid athlete, moves well for size, ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, low hands set, whips the bat through the zone, shows serious bat speed and aggressive approach. Strength plays, shows up when finding the barrel, best contact when working to middle of the field or pullside, could show more consistent extension in order to tap into the raw power. Primary catcher, has quick transfer with solid arm strength, popped as low as 1.94 seconds in defensive workouts. Also plays first base and outfield, moves well and shows solid fundamentals, gets into good fielding position. Very good student. Named to Showcase Top Prospect List.
