David Towler is a 2007 LHP/OF with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame from Alice TX, who attends Alice. David has a lean athletic body. David pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and has a long loose arm action. He has a quick arm on the mound and pitches on a good downward plane. David uses drop and drive mechanics and showed good ability to throw inside effectively. David throws a sharp 1/7 curveball and gets cut action on his fastball. David uses a wide stance at the plate with a no load approach. He starts with his hands deep and has a line drive swing path. David has very good balance in his swing and uses good leverage upon contact. David has good hand strength and has the ability to hit the ball to all fields with some pop. David is a solid two-way prospect.
