Aaron Innes is a 2016 OF/3B/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Paulding HS. Medium frame with solid, highly athletic build throughout body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Sets up to hit from open, wide stance with slight crouch, drops hands into load before firing into swing. Mostly line drive swing plane with some lift, shows good ability to keep hands back and recognize changes in speed. Can use whole field when hitting and does a good job hitting the ball where it's pitched. Shows good footwork in the OF, moving to ball well and fielding cleanly with balance. Works through it well and shows solid arm strength up to 77 MPH. Aggressive movement to the ball in the IF, shows quick feet, transfers well and shows quick release across the diamond. Pitched as well, compact arm action with very good lower half usage in delivery. FB worked 68-71 and touched 72 from 3/4 arm slot, creates plane to plate well. Showed CB with 11/4 shape and good depth; also flashed CH with some fading action. Very good student.
