2005 So Cal Underclass Showcase
Aaron Sandoval is a 5'3" 138 pound 2007 infielder from Price, Utah who attends Carbon High School. He has a small compact build who is strong and stocky. Aaron has a compact swing and keeps his elbow erect. He has some good bat speed through the hitting zone and is a contact type hitter. Sandoval is an early in the line up type hitter who will work the count and hit line drives to all fields. He uses a small stride which allows him to get out of the box very quickly which he showed by running a 4.56 down the line. During the workout he showed his speed as well with a 6.92 60. Sandoval is an aggressive infielder that can play any position. He has good soft sure hands with quick feet and good balance. He showed good arm strength by throwing 74 mph across the infield during the workout. Aaron is very fun to watch and should progress enough to play at the next level.
