Dylan Owens is a 2016 C/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Rockledge, FL who attends Cocoa. Large, well-built frame with good present strength throughout. Sets up to hit with narrow base, slightly open stance, and high hand set. Small leg lift, quick hands through the zone with solid extension through contact. Strength in swing, has some lift, good power throughout--especially to the pull field. Good set up behind the plate, receives the ball well, accurate throws down to 2B with good arm strength, topping at 74 MPH. Popped as low as 2.00 seconds on throws to 2B. Very good student.
