Josh Palmquist is a 2015 C/MIF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Evergreen HS. Palmquist has a medium-lean frame with room to add strength. As a catcher he had short arm action with good footwork and did a good job of gaining ground during his throws. As an outfielder he had long arm action with excellent fielding actions and good arm strength and accurate throws. As a right handed pitcher he threw from a 3/4 arm slot with long-loose arm action and an online delivery with good extension out front. As a right handed hitter he hit from an open stance with a small leg lift trigger and a calm approach at the plate. He displayed a quick bat with a good bat path to the ball and squared the ball up consistently. Named to Top Prospect List. Good Student.
