Jordan Davis is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Hamilton, OH who attends Fairfield. Medium, lean frame with more room to add strength. Ran a 7.31 60 yard dash. Pitches from a short arm action and a three-quarter release. Tops at 77 mph with his fastball and flashes late arm side running action. Flashes a tight slider at 71 mph with short breaking. Mixes in a bigger breaking ball at 69 mph with 11-5 shape and solid depth. Disguises his 72 mph changeup well. Takes a shorter stride and stays on top of his pitches. Solid feel for pitching and mixing pitches. Also swung the bat, carries his hands hand and hits line drives to the middle of the field and opposite field. Finds the barrel consistently and has a solid approach. Hands work well on the infield and shows good range. Makes accurate throws across the diamond. Excellent student.
