Blane Hamon is a 2015 3B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Portland, TX who attends Gregory-Portland HS. Lean and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, good swing mechanics, moves through contact well, short hand path to contact, line drive swing plane, solid mid field contact, all the ingredients are there except for present strength. 7.03 runner, shows range on defense, arm strength is still developing. Also pitched, shows better arm strength off the mound, short arm action, high leg lift delivery, throws cross body on release. Upper 70's fastball, topped at 79 mph, gets good cutting action at times, soft curveball, rare change up.
