Ben Houser is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Blountville, TN who attends Sullivan Central HS. Big strong build. Right handed hitter, quiet upright approach at the plate, backside hitter with limited shift into contact, low hand start, leans back in swing, long lifting uppercut swing, will flash some power, has the strength to hit but will have to make adjustments for consistent contact. Good hands at first base, has good footwork and makes the routine play. Good student.
