Miles Loef is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Leucadia, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Medium frame with lean, athletic build. Some present strength in the body. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, spread setup with wide base in the batter's box, has a deep hand position with wrapped, cocked start. Shows solid bat speed to get the barrel out and create extension. Strong swing with natural uphill plane, ball can carry off the barrel when squared. Middle infielder, shows solid fundamentals in fielding ball out in front, can quicken up transfer and release a bit. Solid arm strength, better rhythm in field when tested more and reacting rather than thinking. Excellent student.
