Brian Perez is a 2014 LHP/ with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Brentwood, NY who attends Brentwood. Smaller frame, good lower half. Ran a 8.24 60 yard dash. Works from an up tempo delivery, long arm action and releases from a three-quarter arm slot. Needs to get on top, throws across his body. Fastball reached 73 mph, arm action is somewhat stiff. Uses a high leg raise. Fastball has some cut, throws a lot of strikes with it. 11-5 curveball flashes some good late bite. Pitches to contact, stays off the barrel well. Knows how to pitch and mix his pitches. Good student.
