2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Peeples is a 5-9, 160 lb right handed pitcher from the Miami area with a slender build. He threw 5 innings at the showcase and was able to control his pitches and work the strike zone. Peeples has a long arm action and solid pitching mechanics. His fastball topped out at 75 mph with some cutting action on occasion. He also threw a 56-61 mph curveball and a 65 mph change up. His breaking ball was by far his best pitch and he can locate it with sharpness.
