Christopher Gandara is a 2014 OF/2B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Florida Christian. Has a medium compact frame with a stronger build. Displayed good actions in the outfield with good foot work. Has arm strength with throws that are online and accurate with a good transfer. Has lots of speed which allows him to run balls down in the gaps. Starts with an open high hand set stance at the plate with a patient approach and has a good eye. Is a lead-off hitter with a level swing, and does a good job of going with the pitch. Is a very good student.
