Joseph Leavitt is a 2014 SS/ with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Garden Grove, CA who attends Calvary Chapel. Leavitt has a medium sized frame with a long lean athletic build. Defensively he has quick transfers and release with developing arm strength. Leavitt has developing actions with developing footwork. At the plate, he starts with a square stance and uses a knee lift trigger to start his swing. Leavitt has a low hand set and swings on a line drive path. He made consistent contact and showed some bat speed with some hand quickness. He has an aggressive swing with some hitting tools. Excellent student.
