Elijah Greene is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Eastvale, CA who attends Chino Hills. Tall, slender, strongly built frame with more room to add strength. Good two-way athlete. Ran a 7.09 60 yard dash. Has a strong outfield throwing arm and takes good routes to the ball. Makes consistently online throws with carry. Bats left-handed, works from a wide setup and knows how to lift the ball. Generates good leverage and hits the ball hard to the opposite field. Also took the mound, tops at 83 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has life on his fastball and works down in the zone. Flashes cutting action. Varies the speed of his 1-7 curveball and locates it down. Flashes sharp bite. Also flashes a 73 mph changeup with big, late diving action. Good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
